This prestigious project involved the major redesign and upgrade of an 18-hole golf course set amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Malaysian highlands, just a 45-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur.
Parslow & Winter Golf Design were commissioned to lead a comprehensive transformation of the course, reimagining its strategy, flow, and character to better reflect the potential of its spectacular setting.

Key to the redesign was the re-routing of several holes to improve course routing, variety, and player experience, while also responding to the site’s unique topography and environmental sensitivities.
The project included a full reconstruction of the course to high specification, with careful attention paid to maintaining the integrity of the landscape while enhancing playability and sustainability.
Although the earthworks were relatively minor, the design called for complete reshaping across all playing surfaces to refine sightlines, introduce strategic shot values, and create a more engaging and visually striking layout.
Brand-new greens, tees, and bunkers were constructed to modern standards, offering improved consistency, challenge, and maintenance efficiency. Each element was carefully designed to harmonise with the natural terrain and views, reinforcing the course’s identity as a premier highland golfing destination.

Infrastructure works were equally extensive, including the installation of a full subsurface drainage system to ensure optimal year-round conditions, a new sand cap to promote turf health and playability, and other key performance upgrades.
The result is a dramatically improved course that combines aesthetic beauty, modern standards, and memorable golf in one of Malaysia’s most breathtaking resort environments.
