Parslow & Winter Golf Design were engaged to deliver a comprehensive redesign and strategic re-routing of the existing 18-hole golf course as part of a broader master plan that included the integration of new residential development adjacent to the course.
Central to the project was the planning and creation of four entirely new holes, carefully routed to enhance the golfing experience while also maximising frontage and value for the new housing lots.
This required close collaboration with master planners, developers, and civil engineers to ensure a seamless interface between golf and residential areas.
The entire course underwent a major redesign and upgrade, elevating it to tournament-standard quality in order to complement the resort’s other championship course.

The scope of work included the complete reconstruction of all 18 green complexes to modern specifications, as well as strategic re-bunkering of fairways and landing zones to improve playability and challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
In addition to architectural enhancements, the project involved significant infrastructure upgrades. These included the installation of an advanced drainage system to improve course conditioning and reduce downtime after heavy rain, as well as a full upgrade of the irrigation network to support more efficient water management and turf health.
New buggy paths were introduced throughout the course to enhance circulation and reduce turf wear, while landscape works focused on reinforcing the course’s identity and enhancing its visual appeal through selective planting and environmental rehabilitation.
The result is a fully modernised, resort-quality golf course that successfully integrates with its surrounding development while providing a challenging and memorable experience for both members and tournament players.
