PWGD were commissioned to masterplan the overall property, reducing the course from 27 holes to 18 holes while maximising residential and commercial opportunities across the site. Significant earthworks were required both for the new mall site and the reconfigured golf course, with extensive silt control measures implemented to safeguard the downstream Putrajaya wetlands throughout construction.

The new 18-hole course and its interconnected lake network were carefully designed as an ecological extension of the surrounding wetland system, creating valuable new habitats for native flora and fauna. The design not only enhanced environmental sustainability but also ensured that the golf course complemented the broader landscape setting.
Today, the course stands as Malaysia’s premier public golf facility, recognised for its strategic layout, consistently high-quality turf presentation, and its ability to deliver a fair yet challenging experience for golfers of all abilities.
