PWGD were engaged to masterplan the entire property and redesign the 18 hole golf course for a major redevelopment including a large-scale residential development, new clubhouse, maintenance compound and driving range.
Reduction of the overall golf course area resulted in re-routing of most of the 18 holes, a river diversion and major earthworks over the site to ensure all project components fit together seamlessly.

The club requirements were for a high-end, full reconstruction which included re-shaping all areas, new automatic irrigation system, full sand cap and buggy path. The overall golf course drainage system was entirely reconfigured to re-direct all rainwater to multiple storage lakes and then back to the main irrigation storage lake to cope with the extended dry season in this region.
Hosting high level regional tournaments was a key objective for the club and PWGD were tasked with designing a layout that can test the region’s best golfers, while still allowing the members to enjoy a social round.
