In 2006, Parslow & Winter Golf Design (PWGD) were commissioned to undertake a comprehensive redesign and upgrade of the club’s 27-hole course.
The project focused on improving strategy, aesthetics, and overall playing experience, while also addressing drainage, turf quality, and sustainability.

The revitalised layout was met with praise both locally and internationally, and in 2009, the course was recognised as Runner-up in the International Courses category of Golf Inc. Magazine’s prestigious Renovation of the Year awards—a significant accolade from one of the leading golf industry publications in the United States.
Since then, PWGD have maintained a long-term relationship with the club, providing ongoing design support and collaborating on a number of improvement initiatives aimed at keeping the course fresh, challenging, and aligned with modern expectations.
This longstanding partnership reflects the club’s commitment to excellence and PWGD’s ability to deliver tailored, site-sensitive design solutions.

More recently, the club faced a major challenge when the nearby airport reclaimed large portions of two of the existing nine-hole courses for expansion.
In response, PWGD were re-engaged to lead a strategic reconfiguration of the layout. This involved designing a brand-new nine-hole course within a more limited footprint, while preserving the integrity, variety, and flow of the original routing.
The result is a thoughtful and well-balanced design that maximises the available land and continues to provide members and guests with a high-quality, enjoyable golfing experience.
